Canção Nova Community with its headquarter in Cachoeira Paulista – SP – Brazil, has four mission houses around the world: Italy, Portugal , United States of America and France, started its mission in the Holy Land on March 19.

Fr. Jonas Abib, founder and president of Canção Nova Community said: “the main goal of Canção Nova in the Holy Land is to incentive all Christians to visit the sites where Jesus Christ had visited.”

Canção Nova started its mission through Pope Paul VI’s document Evangelli Nuntiandi, published in 1975. Member of the Catholic Charismatic Renovation in Brazil, Canção Nova is supported by spontaneous donations of its members and benefactors.

Canção Nova's mission house in the Holy Land wishes to spread the richness and mysteries of the History of Salvation fulfilled there.

God invites us to live a deep spiritual experience, meditating on the public life, passion and resurrection of Jesus.
