The pianist Alessia Orlandi performed a series of concerts, organized by the Holy Land Franciscans.
Alessia Orlandi was born in Vicenza (Italy) in 1989. She started to study piano when she was six years old. Winner of several piano competitions in Italy, now she made a special pilgrimage to the Holy Land with her father, Mr. Silvano.
In Jerusalem (St. Saviour Monastery), in Bethlehem (Catholic University) and in Akko ("Terra Santa" School) she performed music by Haydn, Chopin and Prokofiev. Everywhere a large audience appreciated the great talent in interpretation of the young pianist.
