On Sunday November 14, 2004, the teachers of the School of Music of the Custody of the Holy Land, the Magnificat Institute, held their annual concert.
Trained in pianoforte, violin, and singing, a choral composition from Conservatories in Austria, Belorussia, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, and the United States offered the public their didactic activities at the Magnificat.
Beginning this year the Magnificat opened a class in violin, sponsored by Dr. Lucio Ceccaroli (Italy), in memory of his son Paolo, a famous Italian violinist.
For the first time there were three pieces from thirteen childrens songs, prepared by Fr. Armando Pierucci, OFM, for piano duet, which were sung and danced to (in Italian, Hebrew and Arabic).
At the same time the students of the History of Music displayed their exhibit "The Train of the Opera," a show of images and brief news about the world of lyric.
