have the sadness to inform you
of the death of their brother and father

S.E. Mgr Jean-Baptiste Gourion, OSB
Abbot and Auxiliary Bishop of the Hebrew Community

fell asleep in the Lord in Jerusalem, on the 23rd of June, 2005
at 71 years of age and the 38th year of his priesthood
and the second year of his episcopal service,
on the vigil of the feast of the birth of St. John the Baptist.

The funeral will take place in the church of the monastery
Tuesday the 28th of June at 4:00 in the afternoon.


We invite all the faithful to pray for the repose of his soul.
Our diocesan priests are requested to celebrate 10 masses for his intention.
